    Excellent location, staff and food - but flawed by small issues that will cost very little to fix.

    Location on the front is good and the room (number 4) that we have had (on all 4 visits now) provides a brilliant view of the Bay - and the sunrise. Staff were efficient and professional. They combined these qualities with a friendly demeanour and nothing was too much trouble for them,

    The hotel could do with a refresh. It is a great place to stay but, despite asking for Room 4 on all of our visits, it is flawed by small issues that seem to grow with each visit. The small bedroom is separated from the main room by a door that closes to provide privacy. On our second visit the lock on this door broke - it is still broken 2 visits later. The shower no longer has a door so the floor gets wet - and the bath towel saturated. The 3 main windows have roller blinds - but one of them is broken and is permanently closed. The small bedroom has an accessible balcony - but it is spoiled because it really needs to be cleaned with a 'Karcher' type blaster. DON'T GET ME WRONG - we will visit again and ask for the same room. The great location, wonderful staff and a great variety of dishes at breakfast make this a great value for money hotel. But come on OPUS - spend some money fixing the small stuff.

    Recent stay for a long weekend.

    Its a well placed hotel with a lovely breakfast. The staff were friendly and the room had everything you needed in it.

    The mattress was a bit soft for us but thats personal choice.
