Bucket List destination
The yurts were cozy & homey, the water was absolutely STUNNING, the wildlife was amazing, and the staff were absolutely the best. Hats off to Simon & Family
A small solar light (or any type of illumination) in the bathroom vanity area of the Oystercatcher Yurt would have been nice.

The scenery was absolutely gorgeous and we enjoyed our stay, even though the weather was very uncooperative.
My only recommendation would be to put an awning over the doors so that when it’s raining outside, you can enjoy the view with the doors open and not worry about moisture getting into the yurt. Everything was very thoughtfully laid out in the kitchen was small, but very well put together and easy to use. The decor was lovely.

Must stay place if staying near Seward..
Beautiful remote place, built along the hillside. The yurts are spacious and comfortable. All the comforts of home with a view of the mountains and bay. Quiet and tranquil. Enjoyed kayaking to the waterfalls, looking at sea life along the way and along the coast line. Hiked up one of hillsides with views of Seward and the gulf. The staff is amazing and so helpful with answering questions, helping with equipment ~ there is a sightseeing tour you can do from the property. Book prior to arrival. We slept so soundly at night with our door open , the sounds of the water hitting the rocks. Fun times chatting with other guests at night around the fire pit.
