Bedrooms and bathrooms were large and very comfortable. Absolutely loved seeing horses on the property and seeing the Springbokkies out the kitchen window.

Only thing we would have liked to have in the kitchen was salt and pepper and shower soap in the bathrooms. Luckily we did bring along our own but not the condiments

Lovely, spacious surrounds - great for the kids to play!

The property was spacious and comfortable. The building itself is old, but the woodwork makes it feel warm and welcoming. The farmhouse is a stone's throw out of the town, and its location makes one feel that you're in the countryside. A nice feature!

We experienced problems with the wiring in one of the bedrooms and in the kitchen. A plug box kept tripping the mains. We overcame this by re-rooting the leads to another plug box. I've admitted that the place is rather dated, but several small things could be overcome to make staying more convenient. These were * a cork screw opener that didn't work, * a lamp in the passage that didn't work, * a 4-slice toaster that didn't work on one side and never pops up, * a bad leak in the kitchen that dripped over the stove. These are all general problems that could be avoided if the owners took a little time to ensure that these inconveniences were sorted out. Bedroom 4 could have a towel hook next to the shower and a shelf in the bathroom. As I said, these are small items that can be rectified. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. Oh, one other thing, the house, because of the woodwork, is very dark inside, even with all the lights on. I would suggest that more modern fluorescent lights would solve this problem. Just saying.
