The room was nice and clean.
The water in the shower was not hot. It was lukewarm at best. The shower door would not stay closed. The bathroom door would not stay closed. Both would continuously roll open. Very frustrating trying to take a shower without hot water and the door won’t stay closed.

Our stay at The Origin was memorable!
We had our sons rehearsal dinner there on Oct 3 and the staff working that event in the Blue Lacy was amazing!!! The restaurant manager, bartender (Jim), and chefs were the best! The 50 guests we had there were so complimentary on the food, bartending, and overall atmosphere!
We loved everything. Our room was a little small but that was our fault.

Overall, we were given a bad room and the hotel made it right by changing our room.
The area nearby was very nice. Very close to restaurants. There's a park nearby and a kid's museum. The staff was very nice. Check-In was quite fast. Hotel staff did switch us to another room after we ask them to.
We requested a quiet two queen bed. The AC unit in the room provided was extremely loud. There was a constant cranking sound each time the AC started. Couldn't sleep at all the first night. The second room was much better. There's no separate parking. It's in the paid lot across from the hotel. It's not clear we should go to the hotel to scan the parking information. That resulted in the parking sending constant payment notification that required sending an email to them to resolve the issue. The price also spiked up for the holiday, which made our first night seem even less worth it.
