  The old accommodation with bad smell

  The host was nice, welcoming and helpful. provided clear directions for getting to the property and was friendly when we arrived.

  Unfortunately, the accommodation itself was very disappointing and is not somewhere I would stay again or recommend to others. The whole property was very dated, with old dated furniture and a very small shower. The accommodation had 2 small windows, 1 big window and one big door you could open, but there were still no circulation of air, as acomodation is in basement. The biggest problem was an extremely strong smell in the sleeping area. When we first arrived, we were mainly in the kitchen area and the smell wasn't too noticeable. However, when I walked just a few metres towards the bedroom, the smell suddenly became overwhelming. It was a very strong smell, similar to urine. I immediately asked the host about the smell. She said she couldn't smell anything and kindly offered some deodorising spray. I decided not to use it because I didn't want to simply mask the smell, and I hoped that opening the windows would solve the problem. Unfortunately, it didn't. After returning to the bedroom area later, the smell was so strong that I had to go outside to get some fresh air because I genuinely felt like I was going to vomit. I kept the windows and doors open and the air conditioning running for the night, but I was extremely uncomfortable and did not sleep properly. As I had my children with me, I was particularly concerned about having them sleep in an area with such a strong and unpleasant smell. I tried to find alternative accommodation, but unfortunately everything suitable was already booked, so we had no choice but to stay for the second night. We stayed out in Trapani as late as possible and only returned around 3–4am, as we really didn't want to spend any more time in the apartment than necessary. We slept for a few hours and were relieved to leave in the morning. The positive things were, we were able to take a shower, and having access to a washing machine was useful.

  Buona soluzione per soggiorni molto brevi e se si è disposti ad accettare dei compromessi

  I proprietari sono persone squisite, disponibilissime e di una gentilezza senza eguali. La posizione della struttura garantisce pace e tranquillità ma anche la vicinanza con molti luoghi di interesse turistico.

  Purtroppo “l’appartamento” è una soluzione parecchio arrangiata e non in linea con la tariffa richiesta. Si tratta della taverna di una villetta con una scala che collega direttamente ai piani superiori e la soluzione per isolare non è delle migliori. Anche il contatore è collegato alla rete elettrica dei piani superiori dove abitano i proprietari e più volte è saltata la corrente; la sera a causa del forno (unico elettrodomestico acceso insieme alle luci) e al mattino seguente solamente con la luce in cucina accesa. Abbiamo infatti cercato di limitare il più possibile l’utilizzo dell’aria condizionata proprio per evitare situazioni di questo tipo, ma senza successo. Inoltre, anche se la casa a primo impatto sembrava pulitissima, già poche ore dopo il nostro arrivo siamo stati presi d’assalto dalle formiche nonostante la totale assenza di briciole o cibo.

  Sconsigliato a famiglie con bambini o asmatici

  I proprietari dell'appartamento sono molto gentili e disponibili. Il monolocale è molto grande e ben attrezzato. Sono presenti un letto matrimoniale, una culla, un divano letto e ben 2 altri divani. La cucina spaziosa e ben attrezzata. La lavatrice completa di detersivo e ammorbidente. Parcheggio privato proprio davanti alla struttura. Posizione strategica per visitare la zona e luogo molto tranquillo.

  Il monolocale si trova in uno scantinato e purtroppo è poco areato. Nonostante il deumidificatore, l'odore di umido e muffa è molto forte. Durante la notte la puzza era così forte che l'aria sembrava irrespirabile. Non ci sono molte finestre e la porta d'ingresso la notte deve stare chiusa per la presenza di blatte all'esterno. Assolutamente sconsigliato a persone che soffrono di allergia alle muffe o di asma. Sconsigliato alle famiglie con bambini. Abbiamo passato la notte con delle sciarpe avvolte al viso e dopo la prima notte abbiamo deciso di interrompere il nostro soggiorno per preservare la nostra salute e quella della nostra piccola bimba di 3 anni. È stato un gran peccato sia per la nostra vacanza che per i soldi persi.

  Für zwei Nächte oke..

  Grosses Zimmer resp. Wohnung.. Preis-Leistung war gut 👍🏻

  Wohnung war im Untergeschoss.. Die Luft war dementsprechend… Querlüftung war nicht möglich. Toaster war nicht vorhanden.
