    A very disappointing stay. Bring your own duvet and cooking / serving kit !

    The dawn chorus The view from top stairs was a nice surprise

    The description was misleading: Described as having a kitchenette it only had 2 electric rings and a fridge. No crockery, pots or pans or cutlery or glasses apart from 2 butter knives, 2 small plates, 2 small coffee mugs and 2 paper cups ! The breakfast was all wrapped in plastic and lacked any suggestion of hospitality or thoughfullness. See picture. Fortunately we were able to substitute missing items from our camper van. At bed time we pulled back the cover to discover a sheet only - no duvet ! Out to the camper van again for sleeping bags - lucky us, as it was April. The electrics were not very safe in our opinion; too many appliances plugs into one socket and an old ceramic socket in the bathroom ( see photo). The floor was not very clean and a tile in the floor dangerously broken. It was not eco friendly as all the toiletries were in plastic too. We wont stay there ever again.
