    Lovely hosts and house

    Excellent private run B&B in a nice period townhouse on a quiet street, but still close enough to town and buses. Comfortably walkable to train station. Our room was quiet and comfortable, with excellent characterful decor and good facilities. The shower and bathroom are wonderful, and the room had plentiful teas (of all types), coffees (including machine) and mini-fridge (with fresh milk and chilled water topped up) Our hosts provided a lovingly prepared breakfast to our choice, with good choices of cereals, yogurts and fresh fruit. We also had good advice on eating places in the town. All in all, a great experience, and a great option for exploring the area, with or (better!) without car, such as Cockermouth, Whitehaven and Maryport

    The warm friendly welcome from Rob and Di,so informative about the house and local area. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Nothing negative to say. A fantastic choice of breakfast on offer one of the best full English.

    Nothing to dislike don't normally do guest houses.
