Fantastic B&B in a beautiful location, with as fine a welcome as possible
It doesn't get any better than this. Especially the welcome. And the beauty of the home and its surroundings. And the food. And, for Francigena pilgrims, a wonderful "extra." I had some concerns about food and location, as Casa Cani is 2 km outside of Berceto, which has few places to stay. I brought food just in case, so I wouldn't have to walk back to town. My concerns grew a bit as I walked a long, fairly steep downhill grade from town; walking back up that hill the next morning would be hard work. Those concerns soon evaporated: my host offered dinner, removing any food issue, and then, bless her heart, said that she always drives pilgrims back uphill to the trail after breakfast in the morning. Incredible! The rooms at Casa Cani are gorgeous and comfortable. So is the dining area. Casa Cani served an outstanding three-course dinner, with wine. Breakfast was generous, and excellent.

La padrona di casa, Francesca, ci ha accolto con cordialità e gentilezza. La struttura è stata sistemata molto bene da poco, gli ambienti sono belli e funzionali. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

Sia la struttura nel suo complesso che la stanza del nostro soggiorno sono molto curati e gradevoli, pur mantenendo entrambi lo spirito e l'estetica di un posto di campagna. Quindi il relax è garantito a chi cerca questo tipo di esperienza.
A mio parere è abbastanza urgente il posizionamento di un tappetino antiscivolo sul piatto della doccia. In fine, il viale d'accesso sterrato presenta alcuni punti ostici per l'attraversamento con l'auto a causa della presenza di sassi di dimensioni non piccole, di conseguenza una disattenzione e si rischia di danneggiare la vettura nella parte inferiore.

Sono rimasto entusiasta
Ottima colazione, discreta ma molto buona, volendo c'è anche la cena (a richiesta) semplice ma anch'essa deliziosa. Luogo veramente incantevole.
Poche indicazioni per raggiungerlo.

Sehr nettes und großzügiges Anwesen. Gastgeber sehr freundlich.
Die Lage ist zwar sehr schön, liegt aber ca. 2km und ca. 200 Höhenmeter unterhalb des Ortes. Dies muss man berücksichtigen, wenn man ohne Auto (wir waren mit dem Fahrrad dort) anreist.
