    A Pleasant Stay in Taormina’s Old Town

    The apartment is clean and comfortable, with an excellent location in Taormina’s old town. The host was friendly and welcoming, meeting us in person to hand over the keys upon arrival. Everything is within easy walking distance, including Decò Local, one of the largest supermarkets in central Taormina, just 30 metres away. Porta Catania parking is also very close. While it’s not the most budget-friendly option (€34 per day or €52 for two days during high season), it’s very convenient for exploring Taormina’s charming old town on foot.

    A microwave and washing machine would have been nice additions, although I'm not sure how common these amenities are in similar accommodations in Taormina. Just a heads-up that there are a few stairs to reach the apartment, which might be worth considering. There’s only one air conditioning unit in the living room, with no separate unit in the bedroom.
