    The area and the lake is gorgeous. The lodges are close together but the hot tubs are private and not easily overlooked. I would go again the location and the lodges are nice. I think not all lodges have been updated.

    The lodge itself wasn't amazingly clean. We had an issue with hot water, reached out to staff they responded quickly and were very helpful. They couldn't fix the issue so gave us the option of moving to the Lodge next door which was a much cleaner Lodge and better equipped kitchen.. The jungle inspired lodge otter 3 the kitchen had no oven trays or oven dishes, the frying pan was very small. It just wasn't well equipped. Otter 2 was much better and had no issues there

    We had a great stay and would definitely return! They have many lodges to choose from as well.

    We arrived on Friday evening and was able to drive straight to our lodge which was unlocked and ready for us, with our own parking spot. The stay was very peaceful and we enjoyed the hot tub very much. We were able to cook dinner and breakfast in the lodge with no problems. We visited local shops a 5 minute drive away and spent the day in bath which took 40 minutes drive roughly. The WiFi was great and they provided us with a guide which included local takeaways, taxi companies and general helpful information. We had a lovely stay!

    We came across a couple of hornets which liked the purple outside light. They did eventually leave when the light was turned off. The bed was slightly uncomfortable but that would be down to our preferences.

    I've been coming to hunters moon lodges for over 4 years now it's just brilliant beautiful surroundings and a 10 minute walk to the train station to get to bath which is such a beautiful city all in all I would highly recommend staying at hunters moon lodges
