    The cottage was clean and bedding/beds where comfortable.

    The fire hot tub was terrible, no matter how long the fire burned it did not get warm enough to use. The indoor fireplace smoked us out the first night, even though they recommended to keep the closest window open it defeated the purpose as its winter and the cold air coming is made the place even colder. The gas water heater ran out on the first morning and we resorted to cold showers before it was replaced. It was not worth it staying there.

    Absolutely gorgeous location and very communicative and proactive hostess. This was a stress-free booking and I'd definitely come back for a personal stay instead of only staying the night for work.

    The only thing that could be improved on (and I really had to think hard to come up with something) was that there is an indoor braai that isn't sectioned off from the house, which means all the rooms smell quite smokey.

    Amazing stay!

    We really loved the small details. The hot-tub was pre-lit, so was nice and warm on arrival. We had more than enough wood. The cottage was perfect for entertaining inside and outside 🙂

    Some boardgames might be nice, but other than that, no complaints!
