Wonderful room - great view - friendly staff - highly recommend.

Beach is nice- The hotel needs updating big time.

-They had massive construction going on and didn’t notify guests ahead. Parking was awful as there is construction everywhere. - our room was 3 stories up and no elevator and stairs were outside rickety 1950s style stairs that had loose boards. Scary! - for some units, you have to walk through (not past but through) other guests’ decks to get to your own. Very intrusive. - upkeep wasn’t well done so things like blinds were broken and not fixed.

There is no beach access for this motel! I understand now that beach erosion is a serious problem for this area, but had no idea prior to booking. The pictures are very deceptive. Also, I kept getting told by the front desk that someone took my parking spot, just park somewhere else. So we were constantly fighting for a parking spot, there was no beach access, sand bags piled up everywhere, trash scattered around property. The property should be required to tell potential customers how bad the beach erosion is. If you look at the pictures, one of their houses has already been condemned, this was right next to where we were staying. We drive over 10 hours and spent around $400 per night for this view. Save your money, go somewhere else!!
