Shocking hotel. Avoid
Location
Shocking hotel, On arrive there was a police officer in the hotel speaking to two individuals. Which should have been an instant red flag for us but after travelling 120 miles we just wanted to get into our room. All fine booking in. Got to the room then the male the police was talking to stuck their head round the door to see myself and daughter stood there. He then said sorry and walked off. I Shut our room door which the owner had propped open to which I realised that the door lock wasn’t that great and was very loose. We left the hotel to go to the sea front and have dinner. On arrival back to the hotel we were met with constant shouting from the room next door. Then started the constant in and out of their room. Banging the door every 5 minutes. Knocking on the their door then again banging the door when opening and shutting it. Not just a little bang. Letting a fire door slam shut constantly. This went on till 3:30am until this person decided to bang on our room door. To which I called the hotel reception. But the number doesn’t work. So I called the customer service number. They tried to contact the reception and Again number doesn’t work. They told me there was nothing else they could do and for myself to leave my room and attempt to go and find someone on reception. At 3:30am when there is clearly a mad man roaming the halls. I did not sleep a wink. At 8am I tried to contact reception again. I left our room to go to reception. Rung the buzzer and stood there. No one came out. I called the customer service number again and told them we were leaving the hotel as we did not feel safe at all and hadn’t slept a wink. This in all honesty is the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. All the money we paid and for what. Avoid like the plague if you value your sleep and safety.
