A hotel can be beautifully decorated and centrally located, but if guests cannot sleep, it has failed at its most basic

The location was just steps from the Trevi Fountain and within walking distance of many of Rome’s main attractions. The room was nicely decorated.

Unfortunately, the street noise was horrendous and seriously affected our stay. Throughout the night there were crowds shouting, noisy street performers with clapping and cheering, rubbish collections, bottles being emptied into bins, trolleys rattling over the cobblestones and street-cleaning vehicles operating right through the night until 6am. On the first night, I managed less than two hours of sleep. When I initially raised the noise issue with the receptionist, I was told the hotel was fully booked and “This is Rome”, which I found incredibly dismissive. To be fair, the manager subsequently tried to help, offering an alternative room for the second night and then a smaller room for the third night. Unfortunately, we were out sightseeing and didn’t see his message offering the alternative. Having already been told the hotel was fully booked, we had no reason to keep checking our messages. We were given less than an hour to respond before the room was allocated to another guest, which was extremely frustrating. Reception was only staffed between 8am and 4pm, leaving no one on-site to address the noise issues during the evening or overnight, precisely when the problems were at their worst. While the location is undeniably convenient for sightseeing, the relentless noise, inadequate soundproofing and initial dismissive response made this a disappointing stay. We fully expected Rome to be lively, but there is a difference between a vibrant city atmosphere and being unable to get a decent night’s sleep in a Deluxe room.

Great location and big comfy bed

The property was lovely and clean !! So modern and a really big comfy bed! Was literally 30 steps away from the Trevi fountain and the view we had you could see it from the corner. Staff were very helpful and accomodating. Near barbarini station like ten mins walk that can connect to termini for airport train. All major attractions near walking distance.

Nothing really just we didn’t know where to go and Google maps kept bringing us to wrong place Beware of the scammers outside the hotel near fountain pitting bracelets on you or playing card/cup games same people the whole time!
