Stunning views!!
This is an experience, not just a hotel stay! The view from the terrace was breathtaking! We’ve stayed at a few mountain-top villages and this was the most spectacular view we’ve ever had. The apartment was a cave, with its own cellar - very unique. The room was spacious, with a kitchen and was classically and interestingly decorated. The lady who showed us to the room was very helpful and polite, as was the lady who we interacted with us towards the end of the stay.
The breakfast was disappointing. Perhaps I didn’t clearly read the description but we imagined that breakfast would be a buffet style, served in the hotel’s restaurant, but it was actually in a cafe a couple of minutes walk away, with very little choice. We also didn’t realise that the restaurant wouldn’t be open for dinner during our stay. As mentioned, the apartment was beautiful but because it’s in a cave, there was a slight musty smell. Also, the dehumidifier in the cellar had to be kept on 24/7 which was quite noisy.
