    Cool place to stay in the heart of historic Palermo

    A grand oasis, comfortable and clean.

    Right in the centre of the busiest part of the old town, this accomodation was just minutes walk from all of the main attractions. Our apartment faced the beautiful courtyard, however, and was blissfully quiet. Our host Margherita was kind and helpful throughout our stay. The towels and sheets were snowy white and of high quality. The apartment was roomy and has a washing machine- a real bonus!

    Some facilities had been upgraded - the kitchen was quite new with a dishwasher but oddly ill equipped - no sink plug, no pepper and salt, no kettle, just little things . The bed could probably do with an update as well.

    Excellemt location and staff.

    The location in the heart of old Palermo is wonderful. It is very convenient to all the main attractions and a plethora of restaurants and bars in a lively, dynamic area. Margherita and Jamal were lovely hosts and very helpful. There is an elevator, and excellent lighting via motion detectors in all the main areas of the palazzo. We were traveling with my 89 yr old Dad, and he was able to manage without issue. We felt very safe staying here.

    The bathrooms and kitchen are small, and one of the toilets did not work well. The AC was on high and it still was not cold enough for our taste (in October). The pillows were flat, hard and very uncomfortable. The historic palazzo is amazing, but the apartment is pretty basic.
