Mateo made it a memorable part of our stay in Italy
Mateo was an incredible host. He could not have been more accommodating in all aspects. The breakfast was outstanding, the accommodations were tremendous, and the location was excellent. We will definitely be back to see Mateo on our next trip

Palazzo living in Ostuni can’t be beat!
Third generation Palazzo in the center of aOstuni -walk to everything. The owner was a charming and sophisticated host with a fabulous collection of instruments and radios andVictoria’s from the 1920s and antiques from his family. Fabulous breakfast buffet with delicious fresh fruit and fabulous creamy pastries, and every kind of cured meat and amazing cappuccino. We wanted to stay forever.

Perfectly restored family home & boutique hotel in Ostuni
Breakfast was a dizzying array of fresh roasted veggies, eggs, meats/cheeses, baked beautiful pastries, fruit- beautifully displayed on family china. Matteo was a consummate host- handsome and friendly (he is our new best friend and we hope he comes and visits us in California! He has prepared a list his recommended wonderful restaurants and sites. We loved Operaprima in Ostuni, which has an elegant and contemporary take on local dishes. Matteo has lovingly and carefully restored and decorated his family home with authentic finishes and modern facilities. Ostuni is a perfect location for exploring via car the areas many wonderful towns and the sea.

During my stay at this exceptional accommodation, we were first met by Matteo, who was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and made us feel very comfortable . He took care of every detail during our stay from directions,making reservations, right down to a beach bag and towels, which we need for a day at the beach. Our room was beautiful and every area was meticulously clean. It was definitely a 10 rating all the way. Matteo is by far the best host we have ever encountered on our travels.
