Paradise in the middle of the Atlantic
The place - cottage and the garden - are very authentic, romantic and naturally quiet (meaning you can hear only bird and standard village animal sounds), overseeing the village and the ocean and guarded by all sorts of cats. The host is aware that people come to the island by airplane for a few days and thus the kitchen very practically offers little butter packages, milk, beer, wine, tea, coffee as well as oil and basic seasoning. Given frequent rain and high air humidity in the island, we recommend everyone who plans to hike to bring their own shoe drier as it is not available in the palheiro. The air humidity in the cottage may be reduced by A/C. All in all, it is a lovely and unforgettable place we did not want to leave at all and would wish to come again.

Cosy stay in Faja Grande
We enjoyed our stay here! Nice big house for two persons with a private garden. There’s some friendly neighbour cats who would come for a cuddle.
The bathroom was a bit small.
