  Comfortable, central accommodation in Le Castella

  A lovely, comfortable room not far from the waterfront in Le Castella. Breakfast in the restaurant downstairs (also owned by the host, Mauro) was good - the typical Italian breakfast of cakes and coffee with a selection of yoghurts and fruit juices (bottled). Off-street parking was available for our stay (October so off/shoulder season) which we appreciated. In peak season, this would be a very handy feature.

  Not the fault of the accommodation but the restaurant choices in Le Castella were very limited being October. The owner's restaurant was only open for breakfast and then only for guest's of Papavero Giallo. Having said that, we had a very special dinner at Ruris Ristorante (15 minutes drive away at Isola di Capo Rizzuto) which we had booked a few days prior to our arrival. The loveliest couple run this restaurant (Natale Pallone and his wife) - we will definitely be back should we find ourselves in this part of Italy again. It was a standout, wonderful experience and only added to our favourable impression of this special part of Italy.

  Чудесен престой !

  Хотелът е нов, много чист ,разположен на 10 метра от централнята улица на която са заведенията и води до крепостта .Има собствен паркинг.

  Nice, clean room

  Nice, simple room. Comfy beds, close to main area for site seeing.

  Lights outside the room were so bright. Couldn't switch them off.

  First-Class-Zimmer mit Super Bettenqualität!

  Alles perfekt!

  Der gewählte Fußbodenbelag für das Zimmer sieht zwar pflegeleicht aus, ist es aber leider nicht in der Praxis. Beim Aufgang in den ersten Stock fehlt noch der Handlauf.
