Good option for a one night stop. Beware of paying in advance via Booking.com.
The hotel was very basic but as expected for the price we paid. The buffet breakfast was good. The double bed in our room was very small but sufficient for one night. There was a restaurant just next door that we went for dinner (bar/pub food) that had a live samba band playing who were very good.
The staff didn't have our reservation when we arrived. Fortunately, we were able to use Google Translate to communicate back and forth as the staff didn't speak any English and they were able to accommodate us. One of our party had pre-paid for their room via Booking.com but the hotel staff said they didn't have that information and insisted that we pay (again) there and then.
