Very nice hotel in a very interesting area.

Comfortable room. Very good food. Very friendly staff. Montrose is a very interesting town. We saw large flocks of geese at sunset on the basin and visited the town's very interesting museum and nearby House of Dun.

    Very nice hotel

Lovely hotel, friendly staff. Clean room with lovely bedding and plenty of clean towels. Very nice seating and bar area. Breakfast was nice.

Looks in need of a little TLC and a spruce up. Little bit of confusion over the evening meal, firstly couldn't find a bill so the manager had to put it in , then on check out I was asked to pay for it. Luckily I had the receipt in my purse to prove it had been paid.
