  Lovely place but I won’t be staying again purely for the lack of sleep factor

  Cute cottage, beautiful property and a great location

  Beautiful cottage both inside and out on an equally beautiful property. Only semi private, as the owners are on the same block next door. You can see there place from most windows so we had to keep those blinds down for privacy. In saying that please note the following g: 1. BRING YOUR OWN PILLOWS. The pillows supplied are paper thin. 2. If you are a light sleeper, this is not the place for you. I spent 2 sleepless nights due to the noise. The cottage creaks and makes all sorts of noises. It sounded like someone was trying to break in all night. 3. If you like to sleep without being squished, this is not the place for you. A double bed meant we had to sleep on our sides on the edge of the bed. Rolling over meant ending up half on each other. And the bed creaks…..a lot !!! I contemplated sleeping on the couch but the throw blankets smelled like they’d been left in the washing machine for too long before being dried so they couldn’t be used. 4. The indoor fireplace was nice with wood supplied. Took a while to get going though as the wood was a bit damp so maybe byo 5. The bathroom has nowhere to put your toiletries or hang wet towels and there is a big step over the spa to get in to the shower so if you are older or have mobility issues, this is definitely not the place for you. And most importantly THE DECK/VERANDAH IS EXTREMELY SLIPPERY WHEN WET !!!!!!! We were not warned about this and I had 4 near misses over the weekend and my partner had 2 Overall…… cute cottage, beautiful property, great location but from a comfort point of view it was no where near worth the $280 per night. I can’t wait to go home for a proper sleep !!!!

  Great property. Will visit again

  Secluded location, small and quaint. Great for exploring privately without tourists everywhere

  I found a few roaches crawl out of the bathtub faucet cover which was alarming when you are soaking in a fully filled tub. I didnt use the tub again after that. It was raining pretty much non stop and as much as I love the rain. Its extremely loud on the roof.

  Seeing the glow worms at night was incredible. The cottage was incredibly cosy and having the fjre on at night was amazing!

  Blankets and tea towels smelt of dog and need a proper clean
