  Poor Maintenance and Safety Concerns

  The location is great, with the beach just a short walk away and an excellent Mexican restaurant right on the corner. The apartment is spacious, equipped with three TVs and four air conditioners, which made it comfortable even during the hottest days. At first glance, the apartment looks modern and well-maintained, but after spending some time there, several issues became apparent that took away from the overall experience.

  Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing from the very beginning. We arrived around 2 a.m. due to our flight. The building looked neglected, the entrance resembled a back door, and the hallway light kept flickering, leaving us in complete darkness every few seconds. When we reached our apartment, we found the door partially open. The apartment had been left unlocked and accessible to anyone before our arrival. Before unpacking, we had to check every room to make sure nobody was inside. The only response from the hosts was, "Don't worry, we have CCTV cameras outside the building," which did not address the actual problem. The biggest issue was the shower. The water barely drained and after a few minutes overflowed into the bathroom, hallway, and even the kitchen. We had to clean everything ourselves. There is a review from over a year ago mentioning the exact same issue, so it clearly hasn't been properly fixed. There were also smaller issues. Although the apartment had a washing machine, no detergent was provided, so we had to buy an entire pack just to do one load of laundry. It would be a nice gesture to leave a few capsules for guests. Finally, one of the beds hadn't been cleaned properly, as we found hair between the mattress and the bed frame. Overall, this stay was well below our expectations. Most of these issues could have been avoided with better maintenance, cleanliness, and attention to guest safety.
