Looks gorgeous but sadly it has its flaws…
It is a beautiful guest house, stunning scenery with the well kept garden and real plants in every room. It has a gorgeous kitchen (yes shared) but it is clean and homely and a lovely bedroom with a comfortable bed and super shutters that block out the light. The location is a short train journey (station a 6 minute walk away) from Venice and other beautiful places. There’s a lovely restaurant (Boomerang) a short walk away and the food is excellent! Marco was extremely receptive to messages and when asking a question he always replied promptly.
The plants attract bugs so insect repellent is highly recommended. Sadly, the walls allow for all noise and so my sleep was disturbed on quite a few occasions (even with earplugs), I had a race Sunday so had to book somewhere else to stay just to ensure I got a good nights sleep. If you happen to fall lucky and stay when others are respectful e.g. close the doors gently, aren’t laughing/shouting at ridiculous hours and when making love don’t sound as though they’re trying to reenact ‘When Harry Met Sally’ then you’ll be OK. If I was to recommend to others I’d suggest asking for a room on the ground floor so you can have a better experience.
