    Country Stay

    Volker and the dogs gave us a warm welcome. We enjoyed the rural atmosphere and the walking trail on the property. The cottage had everything we needed for our 2 day stay.

    The sleeping area in the cottage was a bit cramped.

    Mountain and dam views and quiet peacful surroundings

    In cold weather lack of hot water made bathing or showing impossible. Fire place not easy to use. Wood too long to fit in. After going outside in the dark and finding more dry wood, I lit the fire and smoke poured into the rooms. It needs some good repair.

    We loved everything. The scenery, the view, the location and especially the people. Very welcoming, warm hearted and friendly. Our first morning, we were welcomed by a young lady, just wanted to see if we need anything. Then Volmer came to check on us and we just started to share. I'm definitely coming back in future.

    The cottage could do with a outside light in front.
