    Fabulous break.

    Great location, central but peaceful and quiet. Everything we needed at the property and more.

    The lounge gets pretty toasty. If coming in summer maybe bring a fan or two. The rest of the cottage is airy and fine.

    We had 7 adults + 1 dog who found the property very comfortable & the area a pleasure to visit.

    Very comfortable and suitable for our family group of 7 adults Well situated for lots of activities

    Access for dropping off & picking up on arrival / departure - but only a minor niggle

    Great place for a family get-together and good location for exploring the lovely countryside.

    This is a very well equipped cottage - warm and welcoming with tasteful decoration, good sized bedrooms, a cosy sitting room with a lovely fireplace and plenty of armchairs/sofas to relax in. It really did have a ‘home from home’ feeling. The hosts provided a basket of logs for the fire, we then topped up at the nearby Co-op. My Ford Fiesta fitted perfectly into the on-site parking space, larger cars can easily park on the road nearby.

    Lovely cottage, wonderful stay.

    The cottage was warm, very comfortable and well equipped. The layout was interesting (in a good way!) and perfect for us with friends, family members of different ages, and a dog. The host was great - super helpful, with excellent communication when we needed it, which along with the cottage itself made us feel very welcome. We also really liked Tideswell which was a very friendly place and well located within the Peak District.
