    Bad experience

We booked the day before check in. Check in was at 15h00. I had to contact Bookings.com twice as the owner wat not available and no check in detaila was provided, but my money was taken. When we finally got hold of the owner, he referred us to the manager of the accommodation. The manager informed me that we cannot book in at 15h00 or 16h00 as the place was not clean. I waited on him to inform we of a check in time as well as codes for the gates for entry, but I had to follow up with him more than twice. Upon arrival we had to provide a valid driver's license at the gate, which was impossible as mine got lost with my wallet, but no indication of this was given on the check in instructions or Bookings.com. When we arrived at our accommodation the place was not cleaned properly at ALL. Someone elses teeth floss was still in the bathroom bin. The carpets are filthy. No gas to braai. No extra blankets and it was extremely cold. Spider webs everywhere. On the info sheet it is stated that the manager could be contacted at any time. Which was not the case. Unanswered calls. We had to put our bbq meat in the OVEN as the bbq gas was empty.
