    View less than advertised

    Well decorated and spacious.

    The windows were so filthy with old grime and bird droppings that they obscured whatever view there may have been. The owner told us he would clean the windows but the he made no sensible effort to do so. The Esplanade right outside the window is badly polluted. This is not within owners control, but the constant auto noise detracts from the value of the apartment's location. There was some difficulty getting the lock box code. It was resolved, but the difficulty added to the stress of planning our arrival in Weymouth. The boost system for requesting hot water never seemed to work. We didn't raise the issue with the host because of the already unsatisfactory dialogue with the host concerning the filthy windows. Overall, this apartment seems overpriced. We were willing to pay more for the view advertised in the Booking.com listing, but the windows were so filthy we felt we never got that view.
