Pleasant fixer upper, good value
A comfortable master bed, bunk bed, and living area, nice extra beach supplies, clean property, nice beach.
Old sliding door handle broke off, so we replaced it, carpet very old with section missing at master bathroom cut husband's feet, kids room full bed is too soft. Photos gave impression of direct connection to the beach. It was close, but not direct.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach (5 mins) or about a one minute drive to the public access point where you can drive onto the beach. We had some with our party that would drive our items over so we didn't have to carry them and we would meet them there which made the walk easier. There was also a dock located directly behind the property that was great for fishing. Just a minute or two walk. The pool was awesome, perhaps the nicest we've encountered on vacation. We came down with about 25 family members, all stayed at Pelican Inlet, and there was an area on site where we all could congregate, grill out and play pickle ball and shuffle board. Everyone had a great time. The unit itself exceeded expectations. There was a washer and dryer in the unit, everything you would need in the kitchen, 2 full baths, a huge master bedroom with a desk, a full size bed and bunk beds in the second bedroom and a fold out bed/love seat in the living room if you needed it. A small balcony area. We utilized that especially in the morning before we started the day. Relaxing. There was even a wine cooler in the unit. And the unit also is pet friendly. We could have brought our 20 lb dog down for a very reasonable fee. We ultimately decided not to but after being down there for a few days, we wished we had because the unit and property would have been perfect for her. And I can't say enough good things about the host Alex. He was just a pleasure to work with, reached out on a few occasions just to make sure we were good, but not in an intrusive way at all, and was very quick with his responses when I reached out. I would highly recommend this particular unit to anyone that is looking to stay in the Crescent Beach/St. Augustine area. As a side note, I would also recommend Viola's, an Italian restaurant about 4 minutes down the road. Excellent!

Close to the beach, everything is very clean and comfortable. I rented there several years ago, which is why I rented it again. I love it.
The air conditioning doesn't cool well, but everything else is very good.
