  Getaway Night at Pelikastri

  The location is gorgeous. Even though it was raining when we got there, it was still quite beautiful, and then the next day was sunny. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was delicious. I slept well.

  The wifi was a little spotty. But the bad weather may have been the culprit.

  Beautiful well kept property ina wonderful location.

  Beautiful rooms and garden in a lovely quiet, unspoilt bay.

  Nothing. It is quite remote to get to, but that is part of what makes it so special.

  Σε μία πολύ ωραία παραλία κυριολεκτικά στο πουθενά, που φιλοξενεί ένα πρόχειρο κάμπινγκ και μερικές φρικτές εγκαταλημένες οικοδομές περασμένων δεκαετιών, η παλιά αυτή οικοδομή ανακαινίστηκε πρόσφατα με μεγάλη επιμέλεια και καλό γούστο και μετατράπηκε σε ένα μικρό πολύ προσεγμένο ξενοδοχείο. Χαλαρή διάθεση, ε ξαιρετικοί υπαίθριοι χώροι, ευγενικό προσωπικό, πολύ καλό πρωινό, πεντακάθαρο.

  Το δωμάτιο μας δεν είχε μπαλκόνι παρά μόνο δύο μικρά παράθυρα. Το λουτρό δεν είχε ούτε παράθυρο, ούτε τεχνητό εξαερισμό.

  An absolute must stay and makes a whole trip to the area worth it! I can't wait to visit again!

  Arriving at Pelikastri was like arriving in a dream I didn't even know I had. Already the location - nestled between the beautiful olive/grove covered hills and the incredible, turquoise-blue sea - couldn't be better. Then the esthetics: a great color scheme with an immediately calming, soothing effect on the eyes. Hotel manager Harris helped me with my bag, offered me a cool drink, and showed me to my room, which was absolutely perfect. The size, the amenities, the balcony, the view.. just exquisite! The breakfast offered in the guesthouse is plentiful, but there's also the option of walking just 20m further and paying Julia, the owner of the all-day taverna on the beach, a visit. The cooling AC fan and modern windows promised a great night's sleep. The buddhist meditation tent is a luxurious addition to the setting, not to mention the priceless yoga platform on top of the mountain (15 minute walk or a 2 minute drive by the friendly Harris or Konstantinos). It's really a super-imperssive, surreal way to start the day with yoga up there. Talk about finding your middle! Speaking of Harris & Konstantinos: we all learned about the Greek Gods in school, but never did we hear about these two helpful, patient, kind, fun gentlemen, who were such a big addition to my stay. Thank you!

  That the days only had 24 hours. I would have loved to be there for longer, and inventing the science behind stretching out time.
