  A beautiful, peaceful retreat in a stunning location, with a lovely house and fantastic hosts — we’d happily return!

  Beautiful location, looking out over the wetlands and hills every morning was so relaxing. I stayed here with four friends, and we were all very comfortable. The house itself is beautifully done, with everything you need for a great stay. I only wish we’d had more time to make use of the projector and wood-burning fire — perhaps next time! Adam and Charley were very helpful with any questions I had and provided us with recommendations for local restaurants and things to do. We were also able to check in early, giving us even more time to take in the beauty of the place. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks for having us!

  Piękny dom, pięknie urządzony, bardzo wygodny z pięknym widokiem z okna, bardzo wygodne łóżka i naprawdę piękne sypialnie.

  Brak dodatkowej tolaety, brak chociaż niskiego płotka/ogrodzenia przy wyjściu na zewnątrz (kiepskie przy małych dzieciach czy psach) i spora część naczyń/przyborów kuchennych nie była najczystsza. Widać, ze gospodarze urządzili ten dom pięknie i wygodnie, ale trochę kuleje sprzątanie po gościach - pewnie robi to ktoś na zlecenie.

  Great location, amazing view and very comfortable - everything worked & the hosts were v helpful in the lead up.

  The road is very very busy and the narrow pavement was hairy with a 2 yr old.

  Situated in a beautiful location, Penestaer is a good sized property with a lovely outside area for admiring the view. The projector and large screen was a brilliant hit with the teenagers!, and we are grateful to the hosts for providing a Google chrome stick to accommodate this entertainment. Overall, the house is well cared for and the amenities/facilities are of a high standard. There are instructions for everything (which is great 😊) and the fact that there are productive air conditioning units on both the ground floor and the 1st (bedrooms) floor, is marvelous - very much needed and appreciated during a heatwave! 👏🏻

  There were 3 main things that stood out for us. However, all are very fixable! 1..The kitchen - cleanliness could be improved (the cupboards need a good empty and clean throughout, and I found myself washing everything, before I used it). more pots/pans to use on an induction hob would be good as well - there were only 3 available, and I needed 4! I was also unable to use the dishwasher, as there’s seemed to be a water drainage problem with the machine. 2.. it was very handy having a washing machine on-site, and I’m grateful for the facility, however, the machine could do with a good clean through - especially the powder drawer that was extremely dirty inside. 3.. all the bedrooms were really lovely, but the master bedroom is in desperate need of a new mattress. A topper has been put on it to help (which it does, a bit!) but the mattress has completely lost its life and let’s the main bedroom down a lot.
