    Bien ; hôte sympathique mais nous ne reviendrons pas.

    Ameublement intérieur.

    Totalement innacessible aux chiens de grand gabarit (mais le séjour du chien, 20 €, nous été remboursé). A la limite dangerreux pour les personnes agées ou ne sachant pas nager : absence de garde-corps pendant une partie du chemin d'accès à l'appartement). Il existait un autre appart. plus facilement accessible, et je ne comprends pas pourquoi l'hôte ne nous l'a pas loué. Par ailleurs, Ronquière est un désert, ce que nous ignorions.

    TOUT et encore plus l’environnement, sur le canal et aux alentours

    Manque de lumière sur le pont . Une petite lampe ferait déjà bien l’affaire

    Set in a beautiful part of Belgium which I hadn't visited before, wooded hills and valleys, the busy canal was very interesting, as was the nearby Inclined Plane boat lift. Pierre was very jolly and helpful with places to eat, what to see etc, and showed us the other cabin too, in case we returned with more guests. It was a 5 minute walk to the bakery along the canal.

    Access to the boat was along a tow path, under a bridge and around a tight corner. I recommend asking a passenger to go in front watching for cyclists. There have been accidents. The cabin we had was a bit tricky to access, having to walk along a gangway over the canal. It had beds raised about 4 feet and were quite short. My 6ft nephew slept on the sofa instead. The toilet was also raised up on a box making it quite a feat to climb on. The other cabin had conventional facilities and was much larger and easier to access, I shall ask for this one when we return.
