Gute Lage, saubere, einfache Zimmer, gutes Frühstück am Tisch
Die Lage war für uns gut, für eine Großstadt nicht zu laut, die Straßenbahn quasi direkt vor der Haustür, sehr guter Anschluss an die Altstadt, aber auch zur ega und zum zentralen Umsteigeplatz Bahnhof oder Anger. Man kommt quasi überall hin, ohne das Auto benutzen zu müssen. Das Frühstück in der Pension war immer ausreichend, Extrawünsche für heiße Getränke wurden erfüllt, von Frühstücksei bis Wurst/Käse/verschiedene süße Aufstriche war alles vorhanden. Unser Zimmer mit Bad war geräumig, Handtücher, Bettwäsche, Seife, Toilettenpapier und Fön waren vorhanden. Die Vermieter waren als Ansprechpartner gut erreichbar, meist morgens beim Frühstück. Der Frühstücksraum mit Terasse ist in seinem Stil stimmig und sehr einladend. Die wirklich alten Holzmöbel mit passenden Accessoires laden zum Verweilen ein.
Die Einrichtung insgesamt ist eher gewöhnungsbedürftig, altmodisch, teilweise erneuerungsbedürftig. Zum Übernachten und für ein paar Stunden am Abend ist es jedoch in Ordnung, Fernseher ist vorhanden, funktioniert ebenso zuverlässig wie das WLAN. Insgesamt stehen in der Pension zu viele Dinge herum, die nicht wirklich zusammenpassen. Der Geruch von den Möbeln und der Auslegware war uns eher etwas unangenehm "altbacken". Auch im Bad roch es eher unangenehm, jedoch nicht unsauber. Das Zimmer war einschließlich Bad, sauber. Zwischenzeitlich gab es jedoch innerhalb der 5 Tage, die wir dort waren, keinen Zimmerservice. Die Parkplatzsituation ist unsicher. Zwar kann man in Seitenstraßen und auf Fußwegen parken, aber es ist nicht immer was frei und man muss ggf. etwas weiter weg parken, was am ersten Tag mit dem Gepäck doch beschwerlich war.
