    Really nice and friendly place.

    This Pensiunea Helvetia is a hidden secret of Bucharest. First the location: it is just excellent. 100 metres from the metro station Aviatorilor. This cosy place has only eight rooms. Everything works, and it is a bit retro, but definitely in a very positive way. No industrial glass, no neon lights, 24/7 reception. At night out door is closed for safety, but you just ring doorbell and the night porter comes to open. I had absolutely spotless, clean room, with comfy bed, a bath tub, a fridge and balcony. The staff is superfriendly, and you really feel you are a welcomed guest and not just a paying client. Breakfast was optional, but great. Not a buffet breakfast, but I could choose what to have and I was served a breakfast plate with a friendly smile and a good cup of coffee. The price-quality-ratio is excellent, but what I also like is the human touch, the friendliness. Will go there again if and when visiting this interesting city!

    Electric kettle had been nice, otherwise everything was perfect.
