    Not recommended for those who like to spend a peaceful holiday

    Just about four kilometers from the center, but it really feels like you're on the moon: no shopping center, no banks, no shops to buy a bottle of water. Bad and personal safety risk area. Some positive notes: the apartment is kept clean during the stay and the level of comfort is sufficient.

    Charged twice and still waiting for the full refund My stay was agreed at a price of USD 704. However, on 28 July 2026, at the property owner’s insistence, I was made to pay twice because the owner claimed she didn't receive it the first time. I first paid €645, equivalent to USD 733.17. I was then asked to make another payment of €704, equivalent to USD 800.24. In total, I paid USD 1,533.41 for a stay that should have cost only USD 704. So far, I have received a refund of only USD 726.83. This means that my net payment remains USD 806.58, which is USD 102.58 more than the agreed price. I have documents proving both payments. After being induced to pay twice upon arrival, I now feel that the owner is once again trying to retain money that does not belong to her. This has been an extremely unpleasant and worrying experience. I strongly advise tourists to stay away from this property, not only because of the risk of being misled over payments, but also because the apartment is located more than four kilometres from the city centre, in an area without services, where there were many beggars and people whose behaviour made me feel unsafe and uncomfortable.
