    Exceeded our expectations! Kids paradise :-)

    The staff was going out of their way to make our stay memorable. The hotel is right next to a forest which was super nice for going running. I got attacked by some bees on one of my runs and they gave me some cut onion to put on the stings (which actually eased the pain! Good to know!). Very nice breakfast, you can pick between 5 individually made dishes and also have access a small buffet with fruit, bread rolls, condiments and a varying sweet dish (pancakes/muffins/cake/apfelstrudel). Tea/coffee/juices/milk as well. We were able to have dinner served right at the tables next to the pool, when we went swimming we could order drinks - inflatable toys for the pool were available next to the kids playing room, there's a playground with big trampoline... Especially if traveling with kids this is the place to go! They also accommodate horses in the stables, so when running/walking you see a lot of people with or on horses around :-) We didnt want to leave after the three nights were over. If we are going back in the same area we know where to stay!

    The room was a bit outdated, but we booked a triple room and it was actually two connected rooms (one single, one double) - perfect since we traveled with our kids. Not about the hotel but: the gingerbread museum nearby is not recommended unless you speak Czech. They gave us a flyer with some text about the museum and then talked and talked in Czech, no idea what about. We basically sat there and waited 10+ minutes at each stop and the museum itself was underwhelming.
