Not as expected. A stay with a few positives, overshadowed by major privacy and noise issues

The apartment’s ambience and décor were pleasant. The kitchen was generally well‑stocked with useful items. The property was clean and in reflected a pleasant environment. The ironing board was a helpful feature. The hosts responsive was great.

My stay did not match the listing, mainly due to privacy and noise issues from the attached Unit #2, which is not mentioned in the description. Noise from that unit — including a loud 7 AM phone conversation directly outside the bedroom window — made it difficult to sleep or relax. The bedroom window faces Unit #2’s patio with no tinting or sound barrier, creating a significant lack of privacy. This setup ultimately caused us to leave a night early. The listing also misrepresents the “patio,” which is a very small enclosed space with no view. Inside the unit, the bathroom sink drained slowly, the living room blinds were broken with no curtains to keep out the morning light, and the sheets were worn. Only two towel sets were provided for a three‑night stay, and basic items like extra trash bags and hair conditioner were missing. The listing mentions a “casino,” which does not exist. Updating the property description, improving privacy between units, and addressing basic maintenance would greatly improve future stays.

A mix of noise, inconvenience, filth, and unmet expectations that turned a getaway into nightmare.

The bed was comfortable, offering decent sleep despite the noise and other inconveniences. Parking was convenient and hassle-free, with a public parking facility located just across the street near a police station. The proximity to Dollar General, only a three-minute walk away, made it easy to grab essentials during the stay.

The constant noise from upstairs guests and the busy street traffic made it difficult to relax or sleep. The location was outrageously inconvenient—miles from downtown, forcing me to shell out a fortune on Uber rides to get anywhere remotely significant. The accommodations were disgustingly unkempt, with a filthy sleeper sofa full of crumbs and hair, a sink that barely drained, and broken blinds with no curtains to block out light. Basic essentials like soap were nonexistent, and while there was a coffee maker, it was utterly useless without filters or coffee—completely unacceptable. To top it all off, I was charged an absurd cleaning fee yet expected to take out the trash, wash dishes, and clean up after myself, turning what should have been a restful stay into a frustrating and infuriating chore.

Enjoyed our stay in a beautiful apartment!

The apartment is spacious, clean and well furnished. It is in a quiet neighborhood but close to downtown Pittsburgh and easily accessible to everything.

    In general, location, location!

We like the location and it’s close to the city.

The kitchen faucet was loose. Therefore, we hesitated to use the kitchen. Other than this, it’s our pleasure staying here.
