  Gorgeous flat in a perfect location with a balcony and an incredible view of the Acropolis!!

  The host was brilliant - so helpful and very responsive prior to our arrival as well as during our stay. Georgia recommended restaurants and organised a taxi there and back from the airport. The taxi driver Yanni was fantastic - he felt like our own tour guide as we drove into the city and was so kind to help us with the lock box. He also advised to go up the elevator one by one with our luggage as the elevator to get up to the flat is rather old (from the 60's ?) and a little small but to us that only added to the charm - we were staying in the old town after all! The flat itself is an AMAZING position, just underneath the Acropolis and the Plaka area is full of delightful restaurants and shops. I can't imagine a better location for a visit to Athens - it's IDEAL in everyway. It's also a 20 - 25 minute walk to Monastiraki area which has a medina type vibe and is also near all the main high street shops if that's your thing. The decor of the flat is lovely with an understated artistic flair with some interesting / cool artwork on the walls. The bathroom itself is modern and the beds very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped but does not have an oven if that's important (it didn't affect us in anyway though as there is a fantastic bakery around the corner that will keep you more than well fed!). Perhaps though, the best thing about the flat is the balcony which is a very good size with a view of the Acropolis and right opposite the Acropolis Museum. It was so lovely to sit out there with a drink and rest our legs! The view from the bathroom window is incredible. I would not hesitate to stay here again and in fact, I may well return with the rest of my family (on a mother / daughter / sister trip this time). It's a 10 out of 10 from me! Thank you Georgia and thank you to the wonderful city and people of Athens. I am already missing it a great deal!

  Great location, awesome view

  The location and Ioannis the taxi driver.

  The only thing, maybe due to the building being old, has an odor when you get in, but then once inside, negligible.

  Great stay with one of the most amazing views

  Apartment was spacious, had everything that you could need for a very comfortable stay. The beds were extremely comfortable. Had plenty of pillow and mini amenities like even Netflix to watch TV shows. The view was amazing from the balcony you could not get a bit of you and not be closer to all of the major attractions that you would want to see. The owner was very communicative and was very quick to answer any questions that you had. We had a wonderful stay.

  The only downside was that you cannot flush toilet paper down the toilet in Athens. This is not the owners fault. It’s across all of Athens due to the plumbing pipes being so small that they get clogged up. Just something to be aware of but we worked around it It should not take away from the fact that the apartment is absolutely amazing
