Gostamos da localização, das várias piscinas e do pequeno almoço.
Não gostei da limpeza dos quartos. Não gostei da falta de formação de certos empregados. A pior situação foi ao chamar um táxi. A 1 min da porta do hotel há uma paragem de táxis e o rapaz que lá estava a trabalhar no hotel ofereceu-se para chamar o motorista. Assim que entramos, o rapaz, mal encarado, pergunta ao motorista: vais-me dar alguma coisa ou não? E o motorista respondeu que não, educadamente. O rapaz olha para ele e diz-lhe num assobio e com um gesto “então poe-te andar’’. Acho que o que mais nos chocou foi a agressividade com que o miúdo falou com o motorista, bastante mais velho e muito querido.

We had a great stay at Pestana Carlton Madeira! The hotel has an excellent location, close to the city center and the marina. There are also bus stops nearby, making it easy to get around using public transport. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The hotel offers four swimming pools, two indoor and two outdoor, as well as direct access to the ocean, which is a great bonus. Breakfast was very good, with a wide selection of food to choose from, including scrambled eggs, sausages, fresh fruit, and a variety of sweet options. The staff were friendly, caring, and always willing to help, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Madeira!
The free parking is a bit complicated but doable if you are a good driver. But I have seen many people struggling with it and making it difficult for the other people already parked.
