Unique Experience
Beautiful period property. Wonderfully decorated. The air-con was good enough to keep the apartment cool even with highs of mid-30 degrees outside. The location is great for the vaporetto and the Alilaguna Line to the Airport. There’s good restaurants nearby and it’s walking distance to the tourist city centre.
Because the water is hard, there was limescale build up in the bathroom which was clogging the shower head somewhat. Also, the shower water temperature was temperamental so we didn’t enjoy the shower. Guests should be prepared for the four flights of stairs but we were so they weren’t a problem for us.

Fantastisch appartement op een zeer gunstige plek
Het appartement was prachtig ingericht. Overal stond prachtige glas kunst en het was mooi ingericht met fijne meubels en een prima bed. Ook de verlichting was sfeervol en perfect, het was wel even zoeken waar alle lichtknoppen voor dienden. Voor de nacht kon je zelfs een zwakke nachtlamp aandoen. Het appartement lag op de bovenste verdieping met een prachtig uitzicht over de stad. Ik vond het 'geheime' raampje bovenaan het trapje heel leuk. De keuken was zeer compleet ingericht. Deze hebben we echte nauwelijks gebruikt omdat we altijd op zoek gingen naar een restaurantje. Deze zijn in de straten rondom het appartement volop aanwezig. De communicatie met Chiara verliep prima. Op de dag van aankomst mochten we de tassen alvast binnen zetten en de sleutel meenemen. Het appartement werd op dat moment nog voor ons schoongemaakt. Voor het openbaar vervoer ligt dit huis op een perfecte plek. Op een steenworp afstand kun je met de watertaxi naar de eilanden en naar het vliegveld. Tip: neem een abonnement voor het vervoer als je meerdere dagen in Venetië bent. Chiara had ook voor ons de QR code geregeld voor Venetië. Deze hebben we uiteindelijk nooit ergens hoeven tonen maar deze moet je natuurlijk wel bij je hebben. Ik zou graag nog een keer terug komen.
Eigenlijk viel niks teken. Misschien het traplopen maar dat lag geheel aan onze eigen conditie. De douchekop zou wel iets schoner gekund hebben dan zou er nog meer water uit komen. Verder was alles heel fijn.
