    Disappointed/ unclean / awful

    The beds were comfortable that was about it

    There is too much really to say. There seemed to be a lot of rules and regs upon staying there which is fine but a lot of the things that were stipulated to look after were already damaged or broken. For £400 night I found this unacceptable. Two tiny towels left for us, the lights were broken. The bath upstairs didn’t retain water, the hot tub was there for all to see From the main driveway and the cover was broken. There were rats running around the hot tub and there was no seating outside available (what was there was broken) for the price you’d expect at least for the bedding to be prepped. It was creased so badly that it looked like it had just been pulled out of a bag. Check out was 11am yet the cleaners nearly crashed into us they were driving so fast when we were leaving at 10.30am with no apology (just a sour look at us) Imagine if we were still getting ready to leave naked etc and the cleaners turn up 30 mins early. Also I tried to communicate with the barn before we arrived and was completely ignored. All the plants were dead and the place was full of cobwebs and dust. All in all a disgrace. Nothing luxury about it

    Good location, slightly form over function

    - Really liked the location - The mattresses and bedding are incredibly comfy - Tastefully decorated and clean - Good parking

    - None of the windows other than the large front one had curtains or shutters so the open-plan layout is often light in both the sleeping areas - A bit stingy with towels, just one fairly small towel per person (did message through the app to ask for another couple to be dropped off but didn't get a reply). - No milk etc in the fridge which (from my experience at least) is generally normal at this price point
