Above expectations! Relax over the clouds
It's an oasis of tranquility over the clouds of Bromo, we loved the resort, super well mantained! The included afternoon tea and aperitivo time were both nice touches. Food was very nice and all the staff was amazing. I would recommend anybody going to Bromo to stay at least two nights at Plataran Bromo. Get the property tour when you arrive so you can take advantage of all facilities and activities. I also recommend the Tengger short tour, very fascinating!
The perfume diffuser inside the elevator ahah really no need to use it coz the smell is too strong. Everything else was perfect!

The resort itself is absolutely beautiful and very clean, with a truly magical setting. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the surroundings and the overall appearance of the property. It is a very special place and visually one of the most beautiful hotels we stayed at during our trip.
Unfortunately, the service made our stay less relaxing than we expected from a luxury resort. We received a very large amount of messages, documents and forms, and were repeatedly asked to sign confirmations for different activities. We were also frequently contacted about where we were or when we would be available. At times this felt quite intrusive rather than helpful. One situation in particular made us uncomfortable: we were asked to sign paperwork for our Bromo activity, and only a few minutes later we were informed that the tour had been cancelled because the area was closed. The timing made the whole process feel unclear and poorly handled. We also experienced an unfortunate incident at breakfast. A utensil/tong had been left inside a container that several guests understandably believed contained soup or broth. Multiple guests, including us, took from it before realizing what had happened. The hotel itself was very clean, so this appeared to be an isolated issue, but the buffet should have been monitored more carefully. Overall, we feel the guest experience would benefit greatly from less administrative contact, clearer communication and a more relaxed approach to service.
