    Overall, the apartment has a lot going for it thanks to its location and space, but some updates and a few practical imp

    We enjoyed our stay, particularly the apartment’s great location and generous living space, with a good-sized living room that gave everyone room to relax.

    There were, however, a few areas that could be improved. The sofa bed was looking quite tired, and the cushions no longer fitted it properly. The lounge area would also benefit from having ceiling lights (there are none), and the bedrooms received limited natural light. In the third bedroom, additional power points would be helpful, particularly as it didn’t have a bedside table with USB ports, and the Wi-Fi signal didn’t reach the room. In the kitchen, a step stool would make it safer and easier to reach the higher cupboards and use the microwave. Unfortunately, the bathroom extractor fan also stopped working partway through our stay.

    Great beach apartment in Gros, San Sebastián. A stone’s throw from the surfing beach yet near the Old Town.

    The location was excellent. Plenty of space and I loved the recliner chair in the window with a view of the sea. A favourite spot. Would definitely recommend for those that enjoy the surfer beach location in San Sebastián. Still an easy pleasant walk across the river to the Old Town.

    One of the bedroom fans needed replacing with a more powerful one. Ideally an extra fan too as only 3 which meant moving one into the lounge in the day. (It was very hot weather when we stayed ) Would have been a nice touch to have a couple of simple beach chairs and umbrella for guest use. We bought a sun umbrella and have left it in the apartment so hopefully it can be used by future guests and us when we return. Beach towels would be an added bonus for us hand luggage only travellers.

    Very convenient location. Big apartment with ok size bedroom and very small shower rooms.

    San Sebastian is expensive. We paid 300 EUR per night for weekdays in May. For this price, the apartment is not up to our expectation. Furniture is very old.
