    Horror hotel – absolutely avoid

    Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was terrible from beginning to end. We booked a room for two adults and one child with a king-size double bed, but instead we were given two single beds. To make matters worse, one of the beds had a dirty sheet with holes in it. The room clearly had not been properly cleaned. There was dust and even pasta on the floor. After a long day of travelling, we just wanted to shower and freshen up, but there was only one bath towel provided for three people. However, the most disappointing part was how the hotel handled our complaints. We reported everything to the receptionist, who agreed that the situation was unacceptable and offered us a 20% refund as compensation. A few days later, however, the hotel contacted us to say that they would not provide any compensation at all because our room rate was supposedly too low. We paid approximately €90 for one night. Apparently, according to this hotel, paying a lower room rate means you should accept a dirty room, damaged bedding, the wrong bed configuration and insufficient towels. This says everything about the way this hotel treats its guests. Mistakes can happen, but refusing to take responsibility afterwards – especially after compensation had already been offered – is extremely poor customer service. Definitely our worst hotel experiences. I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.
