    A comfortable room with lovely hosts.

    The property is in a great location for visiting the falls. It is spotlessly clean, well maintained, with obvious pride of ownership. The bed was comfortable and the room was cozy. We were graciously greeted. It was very quiet. We had both dinner and breakfast there and both were very good. It was a lovely 1 night stay.

    There is nothing to dislike about this property.

    Excellent plane to stay to enjoy Plitvice Park.

    The absolute best part of this stay was the owner and host, Tony. He was warm and welcoming, with lots of useful local information and tips. The house itself is very nice and so clean. We highly recommend eating the delicious evening meal there, as Tony is also a wonderful chef! If you are planning to do a two day pass into the Park, we’d suggest entering by Gate 3 for the first half day (mid-late afternoon). If you’re not a super strong hiker, taking your car from the River House and parking it at the small parking area near Gate 3, will save you over a mile of extra walking round trip. Note that the hike up and out of the Park while not really long, is steep.

    Just wish the bed had been less firm.

    Incroyable expérience à RIVER HOUSE

    L accueil du propriétaire était incroyable,cultivé,intéressant et vraiment à l écoute des besoins,, ils nous a même fait un parcours pour visiter le parc qui était parfait,,la nourriture digne d un grand resto,, merci encore et encore allez y c est au top

    D en repartir,, tout était parfait
