Pleasant in many aspects but not great value at its current price point

Room good, dinner and breakfast average, pleasant staff. You pay a hefty premium for it's location close to the M6/Lakes and I'm not sure its really worth it overall...

Very clean and newly decorated, nice vibe

Just a little bit noisy during the day, some sort of musak playing that could be heard in room faintly

    Friendly, convenient, excellent overnight stay

We stayed twice at the Plough, heading south then heading north. Great room, handy location off the M6, excellent dinner and breakfast, dog friendly, and very welcomimng staff.
