    You're in for a treat

    What a great experience - full of Japanese charm from the moment you change to slippers! The breakfast is a tasty 'local' buffet with a view across the garden (and 'sunken seating' for those who struggle to sit on the floor).

    Lovely place to stay in Otaru

    - Lovely property inside - Beautiful dining room and view of the garden - Quick check-in - Friendly polite staff - Clean and comfortable room (although the bed in the tatami mat room was not as comfy) - Onsen - Great price, especially with the breakfast included

    - Womens onsen wasn't working at the time we were there. However we are returning soon so hopefully that will be fixed.
