De rust er om heen. Fijn ( zoutwater)zwembad. Was schoon en lekker koel dankzij airco

Fantastisch !
Alles, zeer rustige en fantastische ligging op wandelafstand van een charmant dorp waar alle faciliteiten beschikbaar zijn. Centraal gelegen om alle belangrijkste steden in de omgeving te bezoeken. Zeer comfortabel en mooi ingericht huisje met een supermooi zwembad op het domein. En last but not least de supervriendelijke ontvangst en beschikbaarheid van Gilberto en zijn familie. Een echte aanrader.

The Cianti family provides incredible hospitality!
Wow! Everything we imagined Tuscany would be all came to life with our 19 night stay at Podere La Fonte! The Cianti family; Paolo, Graziana, Gilberto and Gabriele along with their girlfriends Silvia and Lisa made our stay so memorable. From the splendid Vernaccia villa with freezing cold air conditioning and infinity pool to the wood burning pizza oven and homemade dinners we are already missing our new long distance family. The villa is centrally located to several medieval villages with Volterra being the closest followed by San Gimignano, Siena then Florence. There is a small market within walking distance uphill that carries basic necessities like milk, bread, eggs, wine and soft drinks. Hours vary as most businesses in Italy close during the afternoon. The major grocery stores like COOP and Conad are about 15 minute drive in to Colle De Val Elsa (sp?) For the American travelers, there is a cool 1950’s American Diner in Pontedera about an hour away if you’re headed to Pisa. Stop in for delicious American food. Think Ruby’s Diner. Poggibonsi train station is also 15 minutes away by car and has free parking. You’re going to love your stay at Podere La Fonte!

Located in nature The apartment is large, 2 bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen Good location for traveling around. Owners very nice and helpful Be aware that you will need a car.
