Serenity in Siena
Everything!!! The location was perfect, so beautiful, stunning views, amazing breakfast, fantastic staff. Excellent information and recommendations for the area. I can't say enough about this place, it was the highlight of our trip.

Traumhaftes kleines Chalet vor den Toren von Siena - hier kann man ausspannen!
Die Agricultura Podere la Strega liegt etwa fünf Fahrminuten (15 min dem Fahrrad, 45 min zu Fuß) vom historischen Zentrum Sienas entfernt. Ist man erstmal da, bekommt man einen Schlüssel, der diesen Zugang über eine Privatstrasse ermöglicht - vorher muss man "außen rum". Das von uns gemietete Chalet liegt etwas abseits auf dem Gehöft, aber nur 50m vom Pool und 100m vom Frühstücksort entfernt. Die Besitzer und die Haushälterin (?) sind ungewöhnlich freundlich und hilfsbereit, von Ausflugs-/Restaurantips bis hin zum Verkauf von Olivenöl und Wein bleiben keine Fragen offen. Das Chalet ist rustikal und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, drei (!) Klimaanlagen schaffen auch die größte Hitze aus dem Haus. Küche voll ausgestattet (mit Esstisch), Wohnzimmer mit Musikanlage und Fernseher. Im kleinen, mit Stahlträgern eingezogenen Obergeschoss liegt das Schlafzimmer (mit TV) auf der Empore, separat daneben das kleine Badezimmer. Die Fotos auf der booking-Seite sind sehr aussagekräftig und authentisch. Im Außenbereich hat das Chalet eine große Parkfläche sowie ein überdachte Essmöglichkeit für 6 Personen sowie 4 Liegen. Alles prima in Schuss und nur für die Chalet-Mieter. Der Blick auf Siena ist ein Traum, gerade abends (Mückenschutz nicht vergessen!) Besonders erwähnenswert das Frühstück, dass mit überwiegend eigenen Produkten im überdachten Außenbereich des Hauses für alle Gäste gemeinsam angeboten wird - äußerst liebevoll und lecker zubereitet.
Eigentlich war alles sehr gut - was man m.E. bei dem gehobenen Preis aber auch erwarten darf. Lediglich das Fehlen jeglicher Ablagefläche im Bad hat nicht ganz zum ansonsten hervorragenden Gesamteindruck gepasst.
