    Ruime accommodatie met groot zwembad.

    Het ruime landgoed biedt een fijne plek voor grote groepen. Ook waren er veel kamers en bedden waardoor je een mooie indeling kan maken die aansluit bij je groep. De airco in de kamers deed erg goed z'n werk, het was bloedheet buiten en aangenaam fris in de kamers. De eetplaats buiten onder het terras is een absolute topplek, er is zelfs een plafondventilator.

    De uitrusting van de keuken kan een opfrissing gebruiken, maar stoort niet. Er waren wat problemen met het zwembad, maar na communicatie met de eigenaar werd dat afgehandeld.

    We fell in love with the house and had an unforgettable week

    The house is breathtakingly beautiful, everything about this property is perfect. Margherita was always there for us with full support. We wish we could have stayed for longer!

    We all enjoyed the private villa with pool & several outdoor sitting areas around the grounds.

    Our family of seven (three of us 60s and four 30 year olds!) stayed for one week but would have loved to stay longer! Everyone loved the villa. The host Margherita was super nice, helpful and responsive. She arranged for her chef to prepare dinner for us at the villa. We chose the Under the Tuscan Sun menu and we were not disappointed! The meal was delicious and the chef was fun and professional. We enjoyed our dinner outdoors in one of the covered dining areas. The description of the villa and grounds was accurate but even better in person. It was a real plus to have 7 very private bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The pool and A/C were a real plus and WiFi was very good. While the villa/grounds are in a very private setting, we were just ten minutes from five nice grocery stores, including a CoOp, as well as several restaurants. This was the perfect base location to venture out and enjoy the Tuscany area. We walked to Scrofiano one morning to take in the views. Our one regret is that we didn't make it back to Scrofiano to the wine bar owned by our host. It looked really nice and would have been a perfect addition to our trip. The villa was very clean and the kitchen was very well equipped for cooking! The linens were very nice- with plenty of real towels (not the thin material often found in Europe). It was nice to have a washing machine and a clothesline available. We enjoyed waking up to the birds and we even heard a cuckoo bird! if there is an open spot on the calendar, I would highly recommend renting Podere Mencoini Villa!
